I'm Miss Olivia Ashby from Syracuse, New York. I'm currently a junior at SUNY Brockport studying adolescent English Education. I began dancing at age 2 and started competing at 7. Through my time competing, I have won numerous overalls, multiple scholarship and stand-out awards. After high school, I danced on the Division 1 Hofstra University dance team. After deciding to come home, I transferred to SUNY Brockport and now dance on the Brockport Dance Team. While on the team, we traveled to Florida to compete in the college classic and placed 6th in the nation! While my love for dance will always be on stage, I have found a new love for sharing my knowledge with kids and assisting them in growing not only as dancers but as humans!
Miss Olivia Miller began her dance career here at Gotta Dance. She has called a few studios home but is excited to come back to the place it all began! After graduating high school, Miss Olivia continued dancing on the GCC Dance Team and was captain in her final year. She has continued her education at SUNY Brockport and hopes to graduate next spring. Miss Olivia has taken classes in a multitude of styles and loves them all, but her current favorites are tap, contemporary, modern, and hip-hop. You can always find her with a Diet Coke in her hand, and she looks forward to meeting everyone and helping others foster their passion for dance!
